A Giant Step Back In Time With John Coffer

So you thing you have found your niche in photography - you ain't seen nottin' yet. Check out this story about "Tin Type" master - John Coffer. I ran across this story over at the New York Times - it is utterly fascinating story. Mr. Coffer has revived and perfected the old "tintype" image process. He has produced some really usually results - they look like they were produced way back in the 1860's.

Part of the images "look and feel" is because of the subject matter - scenes from around John's farm look like they did in the 1860's. Here is the rest of the story - John's farm is a step back in time too no electric, no running water, but he does have a solar powered computer. Here is the link to John Coffer's story.
